birthday fun!

Last weekend was Harley's 2nd Birthday party! I think I'm still recovering from making the Choo Choo cake, hence why this post is so late! Harley had a blast with his little buddies and was totally spoilt with all things train related!

Harley's birthday is on the 1st of February, so I kind of need to get organised before the summer break so that I can send out invites in early January. I have been looking everywhere for some cute invites, it is so hard to find nice boy ones! Anyway, I've ended up going with these, from Kikki K. I immediately loved them, although I am a little worried about all the pink! I know they are a little girly, but they are cute, and he doesn't care! They do have a bit of blue on them!

My birthday is done & dusted for another year, and this time it fell smack bang in the middle of a weekend. And what a fabulous, fun-filled weekend it turned out to be!

Friday night hubby & I managed to go out for a lovely dinner in Subi, just the two of us. Harley spent Saturday, my actual birthday, hanging with his daddy, while I had breakie with my girlfriends, got my hair chopped (yup, kind of a big deal), and then got ready for a party (someone elses). Saturday night we celebrated a wonderful friend's 30th birthday, and Sunday was a family bbq at our place to celebrate mine! I was totally spoilt by my darling friends & family, mum even brought me a massive bunch of flowers AND a lemon tart for dessert on sunday!!

I'm shattered folks, but this coming weekend is not going to be any quieter than the last!
